GLOBAL MUSIC AWARDS: AWARDS OF MERIT Emory University - Richard Prior, Hymn for Nations United, in the categories for Composition and Symphonic Music, was originally premiered in The Hague,
Netherlands, as commissioned by AMIS. Following his debut at Westminster Abbey, Richard Prior’s music has been performed and broadcast throughout Europe and North America. He holds two university conducting chairs, including one at Emory University.
The new Arts Management Concentration is open this year to rising juniors in Theater Studies, Music, Dance, and the Goizueta Business School. Students will pursue business-related and arts-focused core courses and electives, and all will participate in a capstone course in which they synthesize their evolving perspectives in both an academic and an applied environment.
