SUMMER BASSOON EXTRAVAGANZA

Join us for this week-long "all bassoon" experience which includes:

* bassoon and contrabassoon master classes
* reed-making
* chamber music
* bassoon choir

Nationally-renowned bassoon perfomers and pedagogues will gather at Emory, including Michael Dicker (Illinois State University), Marita Abner (Kansas City Symphony Orchestra and UMKC), Roger Soren (Louisville Symphony Orchestra and Indiana University), and Shelly Unger (founder and director, Emory University).

Guest artists will include William Davis (University of Georgia), Juan de Gomar (Atlanta Symphony Orchestra), Laura Najarian (Atlanta Symphony Orchestra), Carl Nitchie (Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Emory University), and Scott Stewart (Director of Wind Studies, Emory University).

Summer Bassoon Extravaganza will accept interest free payments. The balance must be paid in full byl August 1, 2009. A $50.00 discount is available to two campers who list each others name on the registration form.
